Updated - December 17, 2003 - Day 8

MORE AUTHORING: Today I continued my work on the DVD authoring process. This is shaping up to be a monster of a project. I have new found respect for those that author DVDs. The complexity of menus, movies, command sequences, etc... is astonishing. This complexity though allows one to do almost whatever they wish to. One has to come up with creative ways to accomplish something on a DVD that would require less effort and thinking in another medium such as web page design or flash animations. The actual authoring of the DVD will probably take longer than it took to put together all the animations. I have learned so much about DVD up till this point and I still see that there is much more to learn about the DVD specification. It will probably take me a few more weeks to completely finish the DVD. The last few posts have been a little dry so this is the time to talk about some things. I saw Lord of the Rings: Return Of The King today at 12am. It was great, much more satisfying ending than The Matrix: Revolutions. I would expect that though since it was adapted from a great book (that I never read by the way). I have seen so many movies lately at least 10 or 12 in the last month. I would see more if I had the funds to do so.
