This website will chronicle progress through two multimedia projects. A personal project that I started a few months ago and a project for school. The projects involve a many different types of technology that will be brought together to form a cohesive multimedia experience. I will use knowledge of technology that I have acquired over years of tinkering with computers as well as new technology that I am exploring for the first time. Voice recognition, Geographic Information Systems, DVD authoring, video/sound editing and image compression formats are just some of the things that will be explored with these projects. This DVD will be an digital portfolio to showcase the artist's work galleries, prospective clients and anyone else interested in the artist's art. Animated menu's and multiple audio track selection are some of the features that will be included in this DVD. The menu selection will be divided into the different mediums that the artist creates in. Other sections that may be included will be artist bio, and a"making of" section giving information on how the DVD was made. The project idea came to be from a desire to author my first DVD and just random conversation with the artist. The artist will lend a critical mind throughout the entire project to assure that it is up to his standards as well as inline with what the target audience wants.
